Apopka police officers arrested two suspects today after an extended undercover investigation according to sources inside the APD. Gabriel Antonio Simmons charged with selling cocaine. Thadeous Thomas was charged with selling marijuana within 1,000 feet of a church.

The arrests were the culmination of a two-month-long investigation involving undercover officers who bought drugs from several individuals in Apopka, according to APD Detective Tim Talley. The investigation was triggered by numerous complaints from members of the community.
Both Simmons and Thomas were transported to the Orange County Jail.
Other arrests connected to the investigation are pending according to the APD.
