5:15PM Update - The three juvenile suspects could potentially be charged with grand theft auto, aggravated assault with a weapon, burglary to an occupied dwelling with a battery therein, false imprisonment, battery to a law enforcement officer, and resisting arrest without violence.

The Apopka Police Department reported that three juvenile suspects were arrested this afternoon in connection with a stolen vehicle investigation. The youths were apprehended by the APD after crashing-into a police cruiser and fleeing the pursuit and the stolen vehicle at the Willow Lake Apartment Complex located at 500 Monica Rose Drive in Apopka off of SR 436.

APD cruisers and a Crime Scene Investigation truck were on the scene, and the APD blocked the entryway to the complex while apprehending the suspects. An APD detective suffered a minor knee injury in the collision. There were no injuries to the juvenile suspects.
