Blue Darters, Mustangs maintain rankings in AP Poll

The Apopka Blue Darters and Wekiva Mustangs were both winners on Friday and maintained their rankings in the Associated Press 8-A Top 10 Poll. Apopka (4-1), ranked ninth in the poll, defeated the Boone Braves 49-13, while Wekiva (4-0), ranked second in the poll, defeated the Olympia Titans 43-7.

This week both Apopka and Wekiva begin their 8-A District 4 schedules, with the Blue Darters hosting the Evans Trojans, who are 1-3 on the season, while the Mustangs travel to Winter Garden to face the West Orange Warriors, who are 4-1 on the season.

Both games are scheduled to kickoff at 7 PM on Friday and admission is $6.
