From the Michelle King Foundation
The Ties and Tiaras Dance to benefit Michelle King
A regular Thursday afternoon at work became not so normal when Apopka resident Michelle King went from her lunch break at work to being transported by helicopter to a hospital for immediate open heart surgery.
With no pre-existing conditions, King began feeling symptoms of what ultimately was an aortic dissection. Her symptoms worsened from not being able to breathe and chest pains to a feeling of passing out.
An aortic dissection is a tear in the inner layer of the large blood vessel branching off the heart.
The King family anticipates a deeper financial hardship in the upcoming months from these unexpected and expensive medical bills. Due to the fact that she has recently lost her medical insurance things have been very hard.
In order to help pay for the massive medical costs, the Michelle King Foundation is hosting The Ties and Tiaras Dance next month.
This event is to help raise funds and awareness for King. For more information, contact King’s son Isaiah here: firstname.lastname@example.org
The Michelle King Foundation is having this joined event to help raise funds for her. A percentage of ticket sales will go towards the Michelle King Foundation. Tickets start at $15 for kids. Adults are $25. Dinner included. The dress code is either semi-formal or formal.
