APD looking for school crossing guards

School Crossing Guards assist children safely cross busy intersections on their way to and from school as well as controlling traffic flow around schools in the morning and at the end of the school day.

The Apopka Police Department is accepting applications for School Crossing Guards. The position is seasonal and the hours range between Two (2) and four (4) hours per day depending on location, Monday through Friday.

All candidates will be fingerprinted and subjected to a criminal background check. Candidates must be at least 18 years of age and have a High School Diploma or G.E.D.
