Apopka High School alumnus directs traffic

Petty Officer 1st Class Jeremy Parrish signals to the pilot of an F/A-18E Super Hornet assigned to the Sidewinders of Strike Fighter Squadron 86 on the flight deck of the aircraft carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower.

Jeremy is a 2004 graduate of Apopka High School.

USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69) (aka "Ike"), and its Carrier Strike Group are currently conducting naval operations in the U.S. 6th Fleet area of operations in support of U.S. national security interests in Europe. Ike is based in Norfolk, VA and is on a deployment that began on June 1st and is scheduled to last seven months.
