Apopka High School alumnus directs traffic

Aviation Boatswain's Mate 1st Class Jeremy Parrish directs a C2-A Greyhound assigned to the Rawhides of Fleet Logistics Support Squadron 40 on the flight deck of the aircraft carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower.

Jeremy is a 2004 graduate of Apopka High School.

USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69) (aka "Ike"), and its Carrier Strike Group are deployed in support of Operation Inherent Resolve, maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations. Ike is based in Norfolk, VA and is on a deployment that began on June 1st and is scheduled to last seven months.
