Apopka Christmas Parade road closures announced

How to access to Florida Hospital Apopka during the Christmas Parade

It's that time of year! Everyone loves a parade and the 2016 Apopka Foliage Sertoma Christmas Parade will be held next Saturday, December 10th.

The Christmas Parade is scheduled to begin at 10:00 AM, but to make that happen there will be several road closures beginning as early as 8:00 AM.

Road Closures from 8 a.m. until 12 noon

• Forest Avenue Between Main Street & 3rd Street

Road Closures from 9 a.m. until 12 noon

• Park Avenue Between Main Street / Martin Street
• Votaw Road Between Park Avenue / Christiana Avenue
• 3rd Street Between Park Avenue / Forest Avenue
• 2nd Street Between Park Avenue / Highland Avenue
• 1st Street Between Park Avenue / Highland Avenue
• Forest Avenue Between 3rd Street / Oak Street
• Orange Street Between Park Avenue / Forest Avenue
• Summit Street Between Park Avenue / Central Avenue
• Central Avenue Between Summit Street / Martin Street Mid-block of Central Avenue

Access to Florida Hospital Apopka

FROM MAIN STREET:

• From Main Street, north on Highland Avenue, west on Oak Street to Florida Hospital Apopka

FROM NORTH PARK AVENUE:

• From North Park Avenue, west on Martin Street, south on Lake Avenue, east on Oak Street crossing Park Avenue to Florida Hospital Apopka

FROM VOTAW ROAD:

• From Votaw Road, south on Christiana Avenue, west on Monroe Street, north on Highland Avenue, west on Oak Street to Florida Hospital Apopka

Uniformed officers from the Apopka Police Department will be posted at these locations for assistance if needed.

The times we have listed are approximate and could be shorter or longer depending on the duration of the parade itself. We will endeavor to restore the normal traffic flow as soon as practical.
