Apopka Burglary Report: Week Ending - 11/20/2017

The Apopka Burglary Report for the week 11/13/2017 - 11/20/2017 shows 17 burglaries reported in the City of Apopka.

Four burglaries were reported at businesses located in the 4200 Block of Tigris Drive, the 2100 Block of White Dahlia Drive (two events), and the 4300 Block of Tigris Drive.

Three burglaries were reported at residences located in the 1900 BLOCK of APOPKA BLVD, the 2200 BLOCK of CERBERUS DR, and the 1700 BLOCK of CHATHAM CIR.

10 vehicle burglaries were reported in the 100 BLOCK OF S CHRISTIANA AVE, the 1200 BLOCK of CLEVELAND AVE, the 1900 BLOCK of GRASMERE DR, the 500 BLOCK of CONURE ST, the 400 BLOCK of PARKSIDE POINTE BLVD, the 800 BLOCK of ASHWORTH OVERLOOK DR (three events), the 100 block of North Park Avenue, and the 900 BLOCK of ASHWORTH OVERLOOK DR.

Chief Michael McKinley, of the APD, tells us that many vehicle burglaries could have been prevented if everyone remembers to do just two things:

Remove all valuables from your vehicle

Lock your car doors
