Apopka Burglary Report: Week Ending - 12/10/2017

The Apopka Burglary Report for the week ending December 10th shows 13 burglaries reported in the City of Apopka.

Two burglaries were reported at residences located in the 2600 Block of Block Lent Road, and the 1900 Block of Windsor Oak Drive.

Two burglaries were reported at businesses located in the 2400 Block of Liner Avenue, and the 500 Block of Cooper Oaks Court.

Nine vehicle burglaries were reported in the 1800 BLOCK of OLIVIA CIR, the 1800 BLOCK of OLIVIA CIR, the 2900 BLOCK of CEDAR CREST DR, the 2600 BLOCK of PONKAN MEADOW DR, the 2100 BLOCK of EDMANDS PL, the 500 block of W MARTIN ST, the 700 BLOCK of N LAKE AVE, the 1700 BLOCK of COLD SPRING CT, and the 2600 BLOCK of TREE MEADOW LOOP.

Chief Michael McKinley, of the APD, tells us that many vehicle burglaries could have been prevented if everyone remembers to do just two things:

Remove all valuables from your vehicle

Lock your car doors
