Apopka Burglary Report: Week Ending - 1/1/2018

The Apopka Burglary Report for the week ending January 1st shows 12 burglaries reported in the City of Apopka.

Two burglaries were reported at residences located in the 800 BLOCK of E MAGNOLIA ST, and the 700 BLOCK of S HIGHLAND AVE.

Three burglaries were reported at businesses located in the 100 block of S PARK AVE, the 100 block of W MICHAEL GLADDEN BLVD, and the 1500 BLOCK of SPINFISHER DR.

Seven vehicle burglaries were reported in the 300 BLOCK of ALABAMA AVE, the 1800 BLOCK IROQUOIS DR, the 1600 BLOCK of SPINFISHER DR, the 1200 BLOCK of ALSTON BAY BLVD, the 4300 BLOCK of SEA ROCK CT (two incidents), and the 1700 block of S ORANGE BLOSSOM TRL.

Chief Michael McKinley, of the APD, tells us that many vehicle burglaries could have been prevented if everyone remembers to do just two things:

  1. Remove all valuables from your vehicle
  2. Lock your car doors

The breakdown of the burglaries reported to the Apopka Police Department last week:
