Apopka Burglary Report: Week Ending - 2/17/2018

The Apopka Burglary Report for the week ending February 17th shows three burglaries reported in the City of Apopka.

Five burglaries at residences were reported at the 1000 BLOCK of LUCERNE WAY, the 3600 BLOCK of TAYSIDE CT, the 200 BLOCK of N CERVIDAE DR (2 incidents reported), and the 2200 BLOCK of CANDLENUT CIR.

No burglaries were reported at businesses.

Four vehicle burglaries were reported in the 600 BLOCK OF VINE CT, the 1000 BLOCK OF HIGH MEADOW RD, at the intersection of MARDEN RD & SR 414, and the 1600 BLOCK of CHATHAM CIR.

Chief Michael McKinley of the Apopka Police Department tells us that many vehicle burglaries could have been prevented if everyone remembers to do just two things:

  1. Remove all valuables from your vehicle
  2. Lock your car doors
