Apopka Burglary Report: Week Ending – 10/29/2017

The Apopka Burglary Report for the week 10/22/2017 – 10/29/2017 shows 20 burglaries reported in the City of Apopka.

Three residential burglaries were reported in the 3100 BLOCK of PINENUT DR, the 3000 BLOCK of PARK MEADOW, and the 300 BLOCK of BREEZEWAY DR.

15 vehicle burglaries were reported in the 700 BLOCK of S WASHINGTON AVE, the 3100 BLOCK of PINENUT DR, the 400 BLOCK of W 7TH ST, the 400 BLOCK of HICKORY RD, the 300 BLOCK of MCCOY VILLAGE CT, the 300 BLOCK of HICKORY CT (2), the 200 BLOCK of E 7TH ST, the 300 BLOCK of HICKORY CT (2), the 600 BLOCK of DISALVO PL, the 800 BLOCK of DEKLEVA DR, the 1100 BLOCK of INDIAN BLUFF CT, the 1100 BLOCK of GREEN VISTA CIR. and the 1800 BLOCK pf PARKGLEN CIR.

Two burglaries were reported at businesses located in the 600 BLOCK of ROCK RIDGE BLVD, and the 1300 BLOCK of W KELLY PARK RD.

Chief Michael McKinley, of the APD, tells us that many vehicle burglaries could have been prevented if everyone remembers to do just two things:

  1. Remove all valuables from your vehicle
  2. Lock your car doors

The breakdown of the burglaries reported to the Apopka Police Department last week:

  • 2 – Business
  • 3 – Residential
  • 15 – Vehicle
