Apopka Burglary Report: Week Ending - 10/21/2017

The Apopka Burglary Report for the week 10/16/2017 - 10/21/2017 shows 32 burglaries reported in the City of Apopka.

Four residential burglaries were reported in the 2000 Block of Shelia Drive, the 200 Block of South Line Drive, the 700 Block of River Rock Boulevard, and the 1800 Block of Olivia Circle.

28 vehicle burglaries were reported in the 300 Block WILLET AVE, the 300 Block DREAM LAKE DR, the 300 Block of BREEZEWAY DR , the 400 Block of CHAPELWOOD DR, the 1300 Block of WELCH RIDGE TER, the 1300 Block of FALCONCREST BLVD, the 1300 Block of WELCH RIDGE TER, the 3400 Block of MALLAIG CT, the 2500 block of HAYDEN VALLEY ST, the 1100 Block of WELCH HILL CIR, the 2000 Block of GRASMERE DR, 1800 Block of OLIVIA CIR (2 incidents), the 1900 Block of OLIVIA CIR, the 300 Block of SHEPPARD LAKE CT, the 300 Block of LAKE SHEPARD DR (2 incidents reported), the 1900 Block GRASMERE DR, the 1700 Block of CHATHAM CIR, the 1600 Block of CHATHAM CIR, the 1900 Block of OLIVIA CIR, the 2300 Block of PICKFORD CIR, the 900 Block of LAKE DOE BLVD, the 2600 Block of WYNDAM BAY PL, the 2200 Block of PICKFORD CIR, the 2800 Block of PARK MEADOW DR, the 2200 Block of COBBLEFIELD CIR, and the 2900 Block of PARK MEADOW DR.

No burglaries were reported at businesses.

Chief Michael McKinley, of the APD, tells us that many vehicle burglaries could have been prevented if everyone remembers to do just two things:

  1. Remove all valuables from your vehicle
  2. Lock your car doors
