Apopka Burglary Report: Week Ending - 9/11/2017

The Apopka Burglary Report for the week 9/4/2017 - 9/11/2017 shows 14 burglaries reported in the City of Apopka.

Three residential burglaries were reported in the 500 BLOCK of MARTIN PLACE BLVD, the 800 BLOCK of S HIGHLAND AVE, and the 1000 BLOCK of TIMBERLINE RD.

Five vehicle burglaries were reported in the 1000 BLOCK of PINE ST, the 1900 BLOCK of SHANNON LN, the 1800 BLOCK of CONCORD DR, the 300 BLOCK of S CENTRAL AVE, and the 1900 BLOCK of NICOLE LEE CIR.

Six burglaries were reported at businesses in the 500 block of LAKE BRIDGE LN, the 500 block of MONICA ROSE DR, the 700 block of S ORANGE BLOSSOM TRL, the 3200 block of KLAMATH LOOP, the 800 block of E SEMORAN BLVD, and the 2200 block of FICUS ALY,

Michael McKinley, Chief of the APD, tells us that many vehicle burglaries could have been prevented if everyone remembers to do just two things:

  1. Remove all valuables from your vehicle
  2. Lock your car doors

The breakdown of the burglaries reported to the Apopka Police Department last week:

        • 6 - Business
        • 3 - Residential
        • 5 - Vehicle
