The Apopka Burglary Report for the week 8/28/2017 - 9/4/2017 shows 10 burglaries reported in the City of Apopka.

Two burglaries were reported at residences at the 300 block of Monroe Court, and the 1100 block of Errol Place Circle.

Eight vehicle burglaries were reported on the 2700 block of Spicebush Loop, the 2100 block of Hayfield Way, the 3900 block of Hogshead Road, the 1700 block of South Orange Blossom Trail, the 2000 block of Wavyleaf Court (2), the 300 block of East Monroe Avenue, and the 100 block of North Highland Avenue.

There were no burglaries at businesses this week.

Michael McKinley, Chief of the APD, tells us that many vehicle burglaries could have been prevented if everyone remembers to do just two things:

  1. Remove all valuables from your vehicle
  2. Lock your car doors

The breakdown of the burglaries reported to the Apopka Police Department last week:

        • 0 - Business
        • 2 - Residential
