The Apopka Burglary Report for the week 8/21/2017 - 8/28/2017 shows 14 burglaries reported in the City of Apopka.

Three burglaries were reported at residences at the 400 block Ashley Brooke Court, the 2000 block of Inge Court, the 400 block of Lake Bridge Lane.

Nine vehicle burglaries were reported on South Park Avenue, Timberline Road, South Orange Blossom Trail, Errol Parkway and Lake Francis Drive, East Main Street, Willow Way, South Forest Avenue, North Highland Avenue, and Morning Creek Circle.

Two burglaries were reported at businesses on the 800 block of East 13th Street, and the 700 block of South Orange Blossom Trail.

Michael McKinley, Chief of the APD, tells us that many vehicle burglaries could have been prevented if everyone remembers to do just two things:

  1. Remove all valuables from your vehicle
  2. Lock your car doors

The breakdown of the burglaries reported to the Apopka Police Department last week:

        • 2 - Business
        • 3 - Residential
        • 9 - Vehicle
