David Ogden Stiers David James Fallon

Apopka Police Department officers arrested David James Fallon over the weekend, and charged him with Burglary of a Structure, Damage of Property/Criminal Mischief and Providing a false name to a Law Enforcement Officer.

Fallon, 33 of Apopka, is allegedly the person who broke into The Catfish Place in downtown Apopka on July 19, and is a suspect in multiple other burglaries in the area including the Hungry Howies restaurant.

On July 19, officers responded to a call about a burglar alarm going off at The Catfish Place restaurant in Apopka. Upon arrival the entrance door to the business was open and an audible alarm could be heard. The front door had damage to the lock and it appeared the deadbolt had been pried from the lock. A search of the business yielded negative results. The owner arrived on the scene later, and stated nothing appeared to be missing and that the door was not damaged when the restaurant closed for the evening. Upon reviewing video surveillance footage an unknown light skinned black male was observed entering the business through the damaged door and walked to the cash register. The suspect then rummaged through paper work left in the register and moved another unknown object located on the bottom of the register.

Later that morning, APD detectives assigned to investigating the Catfish Place burglary made comparisons of the suspect from the video, to the suspect in multiple other burglaries in the area. Based on the videos from these burglaries detectives identified the suspect as Fallon.

On July 30, at approximately 12:45AM, APD officers observed a male matching the description of Fallon in the area of Central Avenue and 7th Street in Apopka. Officers made contact with the defendant and asked if he would identify himself. Fallon said his name was "John McNeil." He later admitted his name was David James Fallon and was arrested.

Fallon was later transported to the Orange County Jail where he is currently being held on multiple bonds equalling $10,050.
